Hanging out down here in New Orleans for the next few days during the 2nd weekend of JazzFest, got here a couple days ago... one of my favorite places on Earth!

But, I haven't been down here since I took up the Pedal Steel guitar seriously, and I'm wondering if there happen to be any good Honky Tonks to go see some Louisiana-country style music in town here with steel - or NOLA based steelers to look up online for their gig schedule?

Obviously the scene down here is incredible for all types of music but I have a feeling steelers are few and far between, so if anyone is in the know, I'd love to learn a little more...

Try to find where Steve Spitz is playing and go there. He should be playing this weekend.

He's a Forumite, so maybe you can find him there. You won't be disappointed.
