i read today that this weekend is the running of the Kentucky Derby. Reminded me of the song which I think is now the State
anthem?

I recorded the tune solo on E9th in Atkins style and you are
welcome to give it a listen.

Every once in a while somebody orders my Thumb/Fingerstyle Course for Standard E9th tuning. It is still available. More

Fantastic! I especially love to listen to stuff I can't do at all. Very Happy Those tone sounds in the upper register notes were almost surreal in quality. Cool

Donald, there is no guitar track on that clip. It is done in one pass on the standard E9th neck.

I play it in E so I have the open strings to work with both
treble and bass. When K- lever and B pedal are engaged I have the B7 chord while maintaining the open strings. I use the bar for melody lines and effects while keeping the thumb at work in time underneath. Smile

Thanks to all for listening.

Roy
