I have a later '60 (JJ code, so Oct 1960)still with the brown grille cloth.
It's a super great amp, I LOVE it. Mine has a replaced Power tranny, which is too bad, but oh well.
I'm on the lookout for a 8087 or 67233.
Is this one a Center Volume? Does it have the chrome lettering with the metal knobs?
These sound GREAT with a Steel guitar. Really clean with a bit of warmth that's sometimes lacking in the blackface/early silverface models. |

Respectfully, I'm confused here.
A 1960 Vibrosonic? To my knowledge (and, correct me, please, if I'm wrong), the Vibrosonic was not issued in the 60's but, rather, much later. |

Vibrosonics were made in the late 50's, early 60's. Vibrosonic Reverbs were the later ones, in the 70's & 80's. |

The vibra sonic was made in the sixties with a brown face. The vibro sonic was made in the seventies with a silver face, there was also another vibro sonic made in the mid nineties that carries a black face |
