I have owned three different Marlens. My first was an SD10 that I wish I had kept. These are fine instruments, and the price is incredible for this one... |

Hey Mike,
I don't want to speak for Damir but my experience with the Pull/Release changer has been very positive. It stays in tune, has a good feel and sounds damn good. It takes a bit to get used to, but hey, you play the steel guitar not the flute, it ain't that bad at all.

Damir is it an easy system to work on if something goes a foul on the pull train? _________________ S12 MSA Classic Nashville 400 with fox mods amp 1 volume pedal 1 Lil Izzy and 3 cords |

What I liked most about the p/r was the feel. For me it was similar to a well set up p/p where you feel the change for lack of a better word, I personally like that. It could have just been been a great set up on the one I played, but they are wonderful guitars IMHO _________________ Ralph. Mooney. |

Mike, I really wouldn't know, all 3 Marlens I had were set up, and I didn't have to do anything but play _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

Marlen steel guitars are truly wonderful guitars, I have owned four of them in past years and had absolutely no issues with them. They play and sound great. Good investment for starter or professional. Also, these guitars were built by a great steel player himself, and very nice gentleman. Sorry to say he has since pasted on, but there are lots of "steel mechanics" out there if you should ever want to make set-up changes. No dog in this hunt for me, just speaking up for a good guitar and great guy to deal with, Damir Besic. |

Tone to the bone, easy guitar for a beginner that will stay with them into their pro years... wish I had mine back. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)
