"Somewhere Over The Rainbow", written by Harold Arlen with lyrics by E.Y. Harburg, needs little introduction. It is number one on the "Songs of the Century" list compiled by the Recording Industry Association of America. It was written for the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz, and was first sung by Judy Garland . Iz Kamakawiwoʻole gave it a Hawaiian re-birth in 1993. Probably the most popular song sung in ukulele clubs and societies today.

This production is a result of a collaboration with ace guitarist and musician Charles Campbell. The steel guitar is a Steelocaster with an A6 tuning. Key of A and then C.

Just remembered that Alan Akaka's Maui Steel Guitar Festival is to begin shortly at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel. Sorry I can't be there. This tune is dedicated to all those there and all those promoting the steel guitar.

As always another incredibly performed steel solo.

I was especially impressed by the exceptional accompaniment. What a guitarist. I could listen to him play chords all day.

Ray, Thank you for the kind words. I shall pass them on. Charles Campbell, who hails from South Africa and now lives in Ireland, is a very dedicated musician (lead/ rhythm/ bass) and fun to work with. He pays a lot of attention to detail and his musical abilities...you said so yourself. I first met him in 2012 and we have done a few things together.
