We'll be there Saturday afternoon. We'll find a campground to leave the trailer in for the weekend. My friend Tom Smith will be coming and hopefully he'll get to sing with a few of the pickers. He has a great country voice and has sung with Joe Wright, John Hughey and other "A" list steel players.

| As much as I would like to be there, looks like I'm going to miss the show this time. My grandson is getting married this afternoon and it seems I am not going to be able to work everything in-- This will be the first time for me to miss since I started attending several years ago-- I do not intend to let this become a habit--hope y'all have a great time, love everyone there! |

Just wanted to take a minute and thank Jerry Reece for letting me jam with the band Saturday night. Had a great time seeing some old friends and making some new ones. Looking forward to being apart of the next one. I would love to see some younger guys step up to the plate and take an interest in the Steel Guitar. We are a rare breed but we are a close knit family. We're always willing to share our knowledge and love of our instrument. Thanks again to all the band members and loyal fans. Hope to see you next time!!

I'll say it again. Sorry I couldn't make it. Not because I was sick--I went to a blues jam. These boys have been after me to come out and play some blues for over a year, and I've always felt like dookey. And I did, Saturday night. But I went,anyway. And it was a blast. My "used to be new" RS Guitarworks Tele-style, had never been out of the house--We fixed that, right away.
Now--Somebody tell Ron Elliot I'll do my best to be there for his next show, if I can. |
