I bought Jacob a Mike Headrick Ray Price backing track last week and when I came home tonight after being gone a few days with work he was wanted to show me this. It sure isn't perfect and he gets repetitive, but a big step in the right direction with playing in a band I think. I don't want to make you think this was off the cuff. He worked with his steel teacher a while back on this just playing by himself. Mr. Mike McGee is a great friend and teacher to Jacob. They did not get to work together on playing to this track or I'm sure he wouldn't be playing over the singer so much. LOL.

Great job, kiddo. Now don't get discouraged and give up, you'll be a monster one of these days. Not everyone gets the chance to begin with pedal steel guitar at your age. You're WAY ahead of the game.

Pete Walthall, don't you dare tell Jason and Jacob all the bad things you know about me! Wink

Pete, I miss our talks. I hope you are doing well, my friend. Please stay in touch.
