Here's a shameless plug for (our) Rex Hobart and the Misery Boys fifth album, and first album in 10 years. You may or may not know my name from here on the Forum especially in the lap steel section. I play pedal steel too and have played with this group of guys for almost 20 years. I've been on the Forum for just about that long as well picking up tips.

If you need one reason to give this music a listen I would say try it for its traditional 70s sound (including talk box pedal steel).

I'm a fan. Last time I saw you guys was in denver in 06. Same day I proposed to my wife. And, sadly, the same day Buck Owens died. Looking forward to the new album!

Jim, I remember that. We played Great American Beer Festival that same trip I think.

Hey ya know who I love from your neck of the woods. Casey Prestwood's band.

John,
Are CDs selling? Doubtful. Are we selling them? Yes!

I happen to have one of your records, Nate! I ordered it from a mailorder (Music Network, Bremen).
"Empty House" it is called. I've just listened to it and it's good!

Thanks, Joachim! That recording just turned 10-years old. Some of our best songs ever are on that album and additionally was recorded was all on tape.
