Daymon,I always wanted one, now I have two, I would love to keep one, and have it restored ...years back I used to have one, and it was an unbelievable sounding guitar....I believe old 1965 fingertip is for Sho~Bud what 1966 bolt on is for Emmons... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

thank you so much my friends, but most steel guitars are beautiful , steel guitar builders put a lots of love and labor in their instruments, and even some are 50 years old, all they need is little love, cleaning up and polishing to shine in their full beauty again... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

DB,
All of us ShoBud guys have only found 4 of the single necks! There must be more. Three of the four are at James' place right now! James will be adding levers to mine.
Best luck with the sale of this beauty!

Get that Perm! You won't get many chances to get one! I think that some of their magic is in the keyhead with no rollers, and in the large diameter changer axle. Mine was 5/8" But these things are all about the "sum of the parts is greater than the whole."
