just received this one in on a trade. carter starter # (21) 52102. cleaned and polished. regular set ups on the a b c pedals and the four knee levers. first time ive ever had one in my hands and they are a very good starter guitar. case and volume control in cluded.

HI EVERYONE
I JUST GOT ONE TO CARRY BACK AND FORTH TO PRACTICE SINCE ITS LIGHTER THAN MY D-10 SHO-BUD
THE PROBLEM IS I WANT TO CHANGE THE 4 AND 8 KNEE LVER FRON THE LEFT TO RIGHT-TO THE RIGHT TO LEFT POSITION LIKE MY STANDARD SHO BUD SET UP
CAN THIS BE DONE WITHOUT A LOT OF ISSUES

Hi Carol,
Hard to tell from the photos because the RKL isn't fully visible. At the least, because the pullers are welded to the shafts, it looks like you would have to take out the cross shafts for those two knee levers and swap them, and cut one of the pull rods to fit the shorter distance to the RKL. But the direction of pull may be wrong. Bottom line is, it wouldn't be as trivial as switching rods around. I've never worked on a Starter, but that's my quick take.
You'd probably get more (and better) responses to your question by posting it in a separate thread in the Pedal Steel section.
