Clark S/D 10 with 3 & 5. This is a 3/4 body guitar that is in mint condition. This guitar is only about 4 years old. I am only selling because it sets in the case and is not being played. It has never been in a smoky environment There are no bar dings or other finish blemish's. The piece of wood used for the body is over 35 years old. This is one of the last new guitars Jim Clark built. It comes in a Justice case with a D2F leg pouch. $1950 plus shipping. Cahiers check or Postal M.O.

I knew Jim Clark personally he built one of the finest instruments IMHO...Sonny Curtis played a D-10 studio model when he was with George Jones and a good friend of mine Skeeter Wolfe plays a used one...Jims'guitars plays smooth stays in tune and performs with ANY pedal steel on the market bar none.Need I say more?

Thanks Daniel and Andy It is a truly beautiful guitar. Mike I also appreciate your comments about how good the Clark guitars are built and as you said they preform great as well as staying in tune and are tone monsters.

C.D. I seen Jim for the last time last year in Tulsa i didn't know it would be the last time...Jim was a mans man and very special and who ever came across his path he went out of his way to make you feel like a human and was always very polite

Mike you are absolutely right about Jim Clark. He was a super person and took a lot of pride in his guitars. I've had some interest in this guitar but no firm offers. I will leave it listed a few more days and if it doesn't sell I will just hang on to it and play it occasionally.

If I had the cash, that baby would be mine already. I hope you get an offer soon, C.D., but if not it might buy me the time to get the funds together. Tax season. Rolling Eyes

Thanks for all the nice comments about this guitar. In answer to some questions: The guitar weighs 54.25 lbs. in the case. Also it plays very good and stays in tune really well. I would consider taking a good quality amp in trade. All offers well be consider.

hey Daniel it's an easy drive to Owasso from where you're at and you could probably sell the Stage One fairly quick...

I've seen and heard this guitar up close and in person. It is one the most beautiful guitars I've seen and Clovis made it sound great. Quite a masterpiece .

For several years, my "playing out" rig was a SWR SM-500 Bass head through a pair of Peavey 112E cabinets - gray carpet-covered US Peavey cabs with Black Widow 1201-4 speakers. The amp is in a 4X SKB case with a 1X fan unit. My playing out days are now rare and there's always a PA anymore. I have fairly serious problems with my left foot, sciatica, hip, nerves, you name it, so I have to use a rearranged copedent to play at all. Is there someone you know who works on these and are any other parts compatable? It would go straight from you to the luthier, builder etc. and then to me.

The SM500 is a stereo 2 X 250 watts, it'll fill a big warehouse - on "4." Separating it into 2 speakers and a head unit means more pieces, but much easier carrying. There's info online, let me know if there's any interest! Thanks.

To answer those that have asked---- I'm looking for another steel guitar amp. Not interested in any rack systems other than possibly a Stereo Steel.
Evans Webb Fender Steel King or possibly Peavey
