Nat had some good ones. "Old Man Willis" was one of my faves back in the day..

I got to back Nat up once in the 70's. This was one of the one's I really remember. This and "Sweet Thang and Cisco". He was a lot of fun.

Nat Stuckey wrote "Don't You Believe Her" Ray Price released on his 1966 "Another Bridge to Burn" LP.

Here it is. (Tommy Jackson on fiddle / Grady Martin on gut string / Mr. Emmons on steel)

I can't be viewed from here, Robert. Is this the same song in a different gown?

Yep. Same song. It was during Ray's "orchestra" days. The worst of Ray Price. The first link was the best of Ray.

I remember the "Plastic Saddle" song when it first was released. With it's suggestive wording and strong sexual innuendo, it caused more than a few raised eyebrows when it was released, and throughout the '60's. Whoa!

Back in the late '50s, the song "Fever" by Peggy Lee caused a similar reaction.
