Here are screenshots of an article John Ely ask me to write for the current issue of the HSGA Quarterly about my involvement with the steel guitar. John is the editor and was very helpful assisting me in putting this together.
Here is a picture of the second compensated bridge that I speak about in the article.

Chris, I love your respect for the past/excitement for the future approach to steel guitar--that's the way to be! |

Seems to be where science meets pedal steel. Can it be real?
Enjoyed the article; how cool to be Robert Randolph's guitar mechanic for a while? _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

One time the the front apron laminate was coming loose from the wood body of Robert's purple Fessenden, so I thought I would apply some crazy glue for a fix.
When I pressed the laminate to the wood, the crazy glue…, well you get the picture. :0) _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

Thank you Mark I appreciate that. John Ely did a heck of job with the formatting and editing. I would not thought of writing it without his prodding. _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5
