Folks the S.I.P. show will be April 16, 17, 18 2015 and will be held in Mt. Vernon Illinois at the Holiday Inn convention center this will be the 15th year for S.I.P. Steel show. Lynn and I have been out of town this winter, as I have retired, but I have been kept up to date on the progress of the show. It is looking like this will be another great show with Steve Polusick, Tommy Dodd, Pat Heller, Mike Mcgee, Zane King and many more to be announcer later along with something BIG BIG BIG in the works. vendors will be on hand as always with just what everyone wants and needs. Steve Polusick will be giving a simnar on Saturday April 17 2006 from 12-2, That's 2 hour with one of the best and for only $40 be sure to sign up early by calling Dow at 618-967-4635 or Jeff at 618-315-1543 or myself at 618-214-1864. On Thursday April 16 after the Dinner break around 6pm we will again have a talent search with cash prizes and trophys, this has been a lot of fun for all. I am happy to announce we have kept our ticket price the same low price for 5 years. Thursday $12 at the door Friday $22 at the door Saturday $22 at the door OR all 3 days for a low price of $40 in advance, and you may order tickets at southernillinoisproductions.org or calling a board member. As always we are proud to say we are a non for profit 501c corp and proceeds from this steel show go to Shriners Chrildren Hospital

| Oh!!! I have just received the latest news from the Southern Illinois Steel Guitar Office. The very talented Leona Williams will again grace our stage with her songs and storys, alone with the fabulous Ron Williams, two of country music favorites. New to the stage this year in Mt. Vernon, Illinois is Nashville's very own MANDY BARNETT doing some of her take on PATSY CLINE (Friday night only), What an addition to our show, with some of the best steel guitar players in the country. And don't forget the talent search on Thursday evening with cash prizes |

Just got home from a Steel Show meeting guys and gals and things are coming together just like we had planned it. (I love it when a plan comes together). Get your reservations in at the Holiday Inn soooooon if you want to stay in the hotel where the action is. I just got a fresh room report and it's filling up fast.
We a have a couple of booths spaces still available at $100 per table and that includes 3 day passes for 2 people.
Mandy Barnett at 3pm and at 7:30pm on Friday and $22 will get you in all day. You just can't beat that! 12 hrs of steel guitars, great players and great singers! We raised over $5000 last year for Shriners Hospitals for Children via the generosity of our sponsors, vendors and show attendees and our country music community. We'd like to top that this year.COME JOIN US |

| This is a great show, ran by some very nice people. After having my oldest granson severly injured on a 4 wheeler 2 years ago, I commend the Mt. Vernon guys immensly for their donating proceeds to Shriners. I'm hopeing my small part in the show will help them in their venture. Please attend if at all possible , if you don"t have a great time, it's your own fault.. See you there. |
