Really diggin the LTD but the reverb tank is driving me nuts. It is really noisy and worse of all vibrates really bad at certain frequencies. I really like not using any pedals, just plug straight in so need verb to soften sound a bit. Just like amp reverb. Does anyone know a good replacement box for this amp? Can I just replace it and move on? Amp is Peavey LTD 400. |

You may want to check the tank itself. If it does not already have this feature, cutting a piece of soft cardboard and placing it in the jacket so that the tank rests on it may help the vibration problem. Also check to determine if the springs have become loose or detached. |

4EB2C1B is the original 2 spring number
9EB2C1B is the 3 spring tank
Tank covers are also available at Antique Electronics. They sell the tanks as well |

Cool. Thanks for info. I am thinking of going with 3 spring for LTD. Have 2 spring in Session. Do you think 3 is better? does it matter? Will probably have to get rca cables as well. |

I prefer the sound of three spring myself _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

The most important thing to consider when choosing a tank is whether it is long medium or short delay. |
