Anyone have a picture of a Shobud where they have swapped from wide to narrow pedals? _________________ 1967 Emmons Bolt On, 1995 Mullen PRP 3x5,Nashville 112, JOYO Digital Delay, Goodrich Volume Pedal, Livesteel Strings |

Hey Jason, on my old ShoBud I just sawed off some aluminum on each side of the pedal(s) and they worked great. Some others have done that as well.. I got the idea from Sylvio Tucciaroni when he lived in SoCal in the seventies...JH in Val. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

That's a good idea Jerry....I could do that to mine. I've had to alter them around and move the 1st and second pedals (Emmons set up)...as you can see the wear on the end of the pedals

I have traded pedals and I love the new ones but I am going to have to modify them a little. The mounting system is different so the hump that's on top of the part that slides on the shaft hits the top edge of the pedal bar. I'm going to have to grind some of it away on the Bach side to give some more height adjustment to the pedals. _________________ 1967 Emmons Bolt On, 1995 Mullen PRP 3x5,Nashville 112, JOYO Digital Delay, Goodrich Volume Pedal, Livesteel Strings |

Maybe there is an opportunity to trade pedal rack bar too? If you are having problems, your counterparty may be having the exact opposite problems.
If this is an option, make sure the pull rods are going to line up identically. |

Mabe you could put a shim under the axel brackets to move pedals away the pedal bar |

Had to shave a little off the back of A and C but they work beautifully now!

Hey Jason, can you just turn the mounting brackets upside down? I only have the newer style Sho~Buds that mount in an extruded channel, but one was modified by a previous owner to mount higher on the bar like the old style, the pedals on that one just have that top nub carved off.
