Having exhausted all options to find a solution to my health issues, the problem remains unresolved and I am now on Hospice.
I just want to say thanks for the many years of association on the Forum with some of the finest individuals I have ever known, both professionally and personally. Our sometimes spirited discussions have always been conducted with courtesy and mutual respect for the opinions of others.
The expected rapid deterioration of my health will probably prevent further postings by me, so I'll just close by saying "peace be with you as it is with me".
Luv ya,

Gene, sorry to say I never knew you, but have seen your postings. I guess this stage in life will come to all of us some time, some sooner, some later. I love your sign off message about Peace. That is the most important thing right now, to be at Peace: with yourself, others around you as family & friends, and your Maker.

I've been enlightened by some of Gene's posts over the years. Sad that it has come to this point. As a "Florida Retiree" I see this too often.
Prayers to you and your family. |

Dear Mr. Jones,
We have not met but after reading your message and your web pages I can tell that you have lived
a long and wonderful life that most men could only dream of. You have had an amazing musical journey
and most importantly, you have been accompanied by your lovely wife throughout it. I wish you well and
I take strength from your strength. Most can not leave this world so calmly. So soberly. So honestly.
I admire you.
Godspeed Mr. Jones. _________________ Jb in Ohio

Dear Mr. Gene. I want to thank you for all the information you provided here and for being so kind in answering my p.m's. I think I'm one of the many 'born in the fifties' generation, who look up to yours, for doing what you've done, and not only musically. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |
