Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share with you a few pictures of my new Allen Melbert guitar. I am very impressed with it's fine craftsmanship, and beauty. It has a 10-1 George L pickup which sounds oh so nice.
Mr. Allen was a joy to transact with, if you are reading this, I am very pleased with my Melbert!

Deirdre - Congratulations. I admire your courage in taking on an eight stringer. Bob builds excellent instruments and there's something powerful in acquiring a new steel guitar!

Great looking guitar Deirdre. And I know it will sound great, because I have one just like it, only stained in red chestnut. I chose the George L 10-1 pickup also.

One of the best steel guitarists in the islands and a student of Jerry Byrd, Casey Olsen plays a Melbert just like yours. Wonderful!
