Is there a cheat sheet for an E9 Emmons style setup?
So, I know relative to the bar.....
A+B = IV
B+E = V7
A = VIm
A+B+LKV = Im
Is there any kind of a cheat sheet that shows all of the combos that I can print out?
If not, maybe we can put our heads together and make one up?
Thanks. |

Patricia Warnock has you covered with E9 & C6 charts.
Go to http://www.cryinsteel.com/contact.php and fill out the form thanking her for her hard work, and it will take you to the download page.
Oh yea, they are FREE! I have both, and use them all the time. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

OK, downloaded it and printed it out,
I am a little confused at the Major chord patterns, didn’t know if you could explain it a bit to me.
I see that they have Open Fret (E) +3 = AF (also E)
The next line is AF Fret (is this the E at the 3rd fret? or the C# Open?) +2 = E Lever (Abm?)
Hoping someone could explain the Major and Minor patterns a bit..... |

Looks like Jim Palenscar at Steel Guitars of North County (California) is handling Buddy's products now and should have the E9 Chord Vocabulary http://www.buddyemmons.com/courses2.htm |

Just a note.
A & B is the IV chord if open is the I chord. A & B can be the I chord just as easily and then open is the V chord. _________________ Stage One, Nashville 112, Way more desire than ability |
