A friend of mine owns this picture of Buck Owens. He thinks he got it at a concert in about 1965. The back is signed by Buck Owens and the original band. Nice piece of history.

Hey Alvin,
Any idea what Buddy Allen is doing now. Back in 72 or 73 when I left Ray Price and started working here in Okc. Buck recorded a lot of tv shows here in on Channel 4. Buck never came out but the rest Buddy, Don, Tony Booth and the rest would come out to where I was working and get up and have a heck of a jam session. That's the only time I really got to know Buddy but I sure did like him and of course all the other one's also. db _________________ Dale Bennett |

Wholeheartedly concur. This is a fantastic book that will shatter some long-held misconceptions about the great Buck Owens.
Includes an excellent discography that lists the session players and recording dates and places of most everything Buck ever recorded. |

I remember one time some one asking Buck Owens if He knew or heard of me and I was standing right behind him (Buck)and they didn't see me and his answer was. I'd be hurt if I didn't.That stayed with me and when Buck turn a round he said to me. You are a dear friend of mine, right. I took care of him very well at all our Academy Of Country Music events. I could tell you hundreds of stories and times we talked that I live with in side me thanks to my late dear friend and his Family. RIP my friend. I sure do miss him and so many others.
