Non-pedal steel players will appreciate this chord mapping system. Really allows you to visualize the patterns on the fretboard. Works for any stringed instrument with a fret/fingerboard. Create your own tunings or select from dozens. Add strings and raise or lower the pitch of each string. Play chord progressions and even enjoy backup tracks. Jam along.

Great learning tool! More to come.

Users with slower connections may need to allow time for the audio backup track to load by refreshing the screen a few times, if the playback timing is off. Then timing should be dead-on.

Works great on Firefox and Chrome, not so good on MSIE and Iphone.

It's a work in progress, so check back often.

Great tool Victor.

Any way to save a cookie so I can come back later and continue from where I was?

I will be coming forth with the ability to save "state" (remember where you were) and save your custom tunings.

Lots more features coming up!

Be patient...this thing is frying my brain, but I'm turning up the heat...

And don't let the occasional server error frighten you. It means I'm still alive and I'm working on it. Try again in a little while.

Thanks and enjoy!

Very cool tool. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Has anyone ever done something like this for pedal where you could actually map your copedent and the show what is where with any pedal or level engaged?

As far as I can tell, there is nothing like this on the Internet.

Once I get this thing working better and add more info, tracks, progressions, chords, etc., I'll see if I can come up with a version for pedal steel. I'm sure it can be done...

You're the observant one Smile

Not a problem. Just keep moving and that won't happen.

Had to do something when the audio stops.

Click the back button on your browser and refresh your screen when the pesky thing does that...
