I know nothing about the mechanics of a later model LDG
But I'm looking to purchase one and just wondering how hard
it is to add extra pulls to the 4 levers? And if the parts are ready available?

LDG wasn't a specific mechanism, but could be anything from Pro I to Super Pro.
As long as you are schooled in the operation of screwdriver and Allen wrench, you should be able to handle it.

Parts are available, I believe, from Michael Yahl or James Morehead (not sure of availability from James at this time), both Forumites.

Lane is right. You can do anything you want to them.

If you're unsure which type of mechanism you have, snap some pics and send them to Michael, James or post them here.
Changer window and crossrods.
Other Antipodean steelies might know where to find them where you are, but James and Michael can certainly send them to you.

Ok Guys thanks for that. I been tossing up
Which guitar to go with, a nice late
Model Sho Bud LDG or a Emmons s10 P/P
with a pad that needs a little cosmetic work.
Both guitars need pulls added and E lowerer levers
Changed. I have had a push pull before and loved the
tone. Never owned a Sho Bud but this LDG looks nice!
Not sure which one to go with Confused

I'd only touch the Emmons if you're feeling ambitious or know a p/p mechanic nearby.
An all-pull will be easier to work on. Emmonses are great, but easy to screw up.

Yeah Lane I went through it with my last push
Pull. Fair bit involved. But I think very worth
It for the tone they give. I just want to be able to
add pulls easily and I guess that's where the
Emmons gets very tricky!!

Most Buds sound great. Some don't. Hard to generalize.
