Mike,
As a drummer, I'll have to take your word about the GFI, but I know a player when I hear one and you certainly are a great one. You and that GFI you were playing made a great team. I loved your shows and really enjoyed our jam session in the GFI room. Hope we can do it again soon. (maybe next time I'll have a set of drums.)

Just have to say something about the GFI. I think it has one of the best tones I have heard, IMHO. I know others sound good, but I prefer the tone of this guitar. The guitar is lightweight and solid. I love mine and I got it from Seymour. The looks of it has to grow on you though.
Mike I enjoyed your picking also. Enjoyed the GFI room with you playing too. And I'll have to agree with you, the piece of bread you dropped and picked up and laid down was about a $2 piece, at those prices.

Does GFI make an extended E-9 12-string? Or only the Universal?

Robert,
Thanks for the kind words, but the pleasure was all mine. As I also said to Mike, you and your GFI make a great team. Each time I hear you play, you just get better and better and that my friend is the mark of a talented and dedicated player. Keep up the good work.
As always, I look forward to seeing, and hearing you soon.

I don't see why not, it's the same guitar, just with less parts. Why don't you email Gene and ask him? gfipedalguitars@bigfoot.com Or you can phone him at (817) 784-3555. |

Yes you can get a GFI extended E 9th. Mike Sigler, Don E. Curtis, and Bobbe Seymour are all GFI dealers. I know, if you would contact any one of them, they would set one up just the way you want it, or order it from GFI and have it built to your set up. Custom color and all. |

guys
Thanks for the kind words, I just cant say enough about the GFI. It is one fine guitar all around... Mr Gene Fields is far ahead of his time in building these fine guitars..
Plus: I think they make me look thinner.
And yes we build a 12 string, Gene can pretty much take care of just about any needs you have!! ( Thanks again Guys for the cool Jam Session at the show)

Mike S.- I backed your sister, Lisa on stage last Sat. and may do the same tomorrow night. Sweet woman with a great voice and a fine way with a bass. Yeah, Andy too. . . . he's another story.
I love my EMCI and really want to try a GFI to see if it is the continuation of Gene Field's magic. Have you ever used his earlier welded frames? |

My GFI Ultra is GREAT! Exceptional sustain & tone. Bob and Gene were very helpful and exemplify real customer service in this day and age of recorded voice menus and companies that are only after 'the sale'. They took the time to answer all of my questions and built my fantastic custom color model S-10U(Limber Maple).
Hats off to GFI...
