hey fella i never used my vkl on my fessy im not that tall and even with it lowered completely, it was always a stretch to play it with the pedals. What bothered me about the guitar was that the LKR was so far recessed because of the placement of the VKL that I had to sit so far forward to throw it completely. I decide this week to take out the VKL and moved my LKR to its mount. Wow a huge relief on the LKR. no more squeaking, and a nice and easy throw. my guitar plays easier and were both happier.

Would you be interested in selling that VKL? I've been wanting to add a B-Bb lower on my Fessy SD-10 but need a lever and hardware.
