Awesome picking by Sid at Dallas. Had everyone amazed at his great sound and speed. Sid's suite was the place to be. Joan and Johnny Cox, Russ Hicks, and Chuck Campbell and many more that I can't possibly name. Country music still alive and well in Texas. Great time had by all. Thanks to Billy Knowles and everyone who allowed us to hang out with them. Our first trip to Dallas and looking forward to going again. _________________ Cherokee SD-10

I don't know if it was my tinnitus, the PA, Sid's amp, compressor, strings, or his attack, but some of the frequencies he was putting out were like jackhammers in my ears. I really wanted to hear his set, but I had to leave the room within five minutes. None of the other players had any of this effect on me at all. |

I have tinnitus and Sid's tone did not hurt my ears??I think the PA system had more treble in it that the actual players amp did. _________________ Billy Knowles

Sid, you really did a great job at the TSGA show. I really enjoyed your set. Great tone. Were you playing with a flat pick? |

Sid,
It was great to meet you and I thought your set was awesome. I was setting on the front row in the middle, so was hearing from the stage amps and not the house speakers. Your tone was tremendous. I am so glad you are feeling better and on the mend.

Thanks, but my tinnitus usually only bothers me when it's quiet. My hearing aids really help to mask the ringing in low to medium volume situations. I chose not to wear them for the show so I wouldn't have to keep adjusting them for different situations.
I was there from the first note on Thursday to the last note on Sunday, and your set was the only one that bothered my ears. I even moved around the hall before I left, thinking it might have been a PA horn pointing at me or something.
I had really looked forward to hearing and watching you play for the first time, and you did sound great...from the lobby. ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

My only gripe was that Sid should have had 2 sets in prime time. Like many people I also wear hearing aids but I had no problem with anyone's set. My first time to hear Sid Hudson and I was not disappointed. I just wish his set had been longer. |

Sids playing mesmerized me. Just amazing......Of course, I share the same sentiments as others who posted before me.
Jack Hammers? I sat on the first row and had no problems at all. It was music to my ears. _________________ Traveler, Peddler and Extreme life lover. Giving up is not an option. |

Hi Sid. I was the guy sitting behind you playing the bass. You sounded great but I can't say much about the view from where I was sitting.
Seriously, I think Charley described your playing perfectly. Mesmerizing!
Always a pleasure to get to play with you and hear you. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ Bill Cunningham
