Ricky,

Fabulous job on this one. That Sho-Bud sounded terrific but I'm sure the tone came from the hands of a master!

I'm glad to see they didn't mix the steel so far into the background that it's hard to hear it. Great job by all!

Keep them coming.

Don

Thanks Don. And on the mix....That is because you have two steel players producing it... Tommy Detamore and Ricky Davis....That's why you can hear the steel(The other voice in Country music)which is the defining instrument in country music(not guitar; not banjo; not fiddle; not harmonica.... The PEDAL STEEL!!!!

I had no idea people are still playing country music, sounds great.By the way Ricky,as a steel and Tele player I think Teles run a close second to steel guitars in country music. When did Les Pauls and PRS,s get into country anyway.

Ricky, I'd be interested in buying a CD of you doing the same type music with these guys with the preponderance of a lot of your steel work. Man, IMO, this is sheer enjoyment, you are good! I don't to see "good work" lost.

Thanks so much Charles. Folks have inquired a long time about me doing a CD; and basically I can't because I have to fund it. I'm a full time musician(that means I make the poverty bracket) and I'm a single Dad of a beautiful 5 year old. I have NO MONEY to make a CD....sorry.
Jerry; YES....I do love Bakersfield Country; where the Tele was basically born in country music....
