Is there a place in the DFW area where I could get a setup done on my MSA Classic? I only know of one place off of Camp Bowie, but I would like to know of any other alternatives. Thank you everyone.

Steve Lamb at Lamb Music or MSA are the main two choices. Gary Carpenter may help you out but I don't have his number.

If you don't mind driving a little you could go the mother ship of MSA in Dallas. Set up an appointment with Kyle and they normally can take care of you on the spot depending on what needs to be done.

Well guys I called MSA. I don't know why it hadn't dawned on me that they are right there in Dallas. I spoke with Mitchell who is the guitar builder over there and told him what I needed. He gave me a few pointers to remedy my problem and when I got home I did what he said and BOOM!!! The guitar is fixed!!!!!! BTW I was having the same problem that a lot of folks have with the 4th string on the C pedal not tuning up without raising the E note. It turns out that the rod was threaded through the hole closest to the body. He told me it needed to go through the hole away from the body and it fixed it. I have read that so many times here on the forum, but I wasn't having the problem when I recieved the guitar so I assumed it was something else. By doing this I had to re-thread some other pulls on that string for the E & F lever and now they too are feeling better while engaging. It was really cool of him to take the time on the phone with me and turn down the money even if it was a little bit. That for the heads up guys, I may have taken it somewhere else and waited a really long time to get it back.

Mitchell is a great guy to deal with and a top notch player, it always surprises me he is not given a main stage spot at TSGA.
