Me thinks perhaps in the light of day the vision WILL be revealed only to the behest of one who seeks knowledge. Mind meld. He's out there. |

He was having some health issues and maybe even having surgery. A while back. Maybe he's recovering. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . That was October of last year; I think he was going in for dialysis.
I have invoked his name several times recently; in vain many of us have tried to attain--
have attempted to capture the prosaic sensibilities to no avail of the man whom we seek.
I think Bill was just having fun with us. _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

I can understand that from Bill's viewpoint, but again in other's defense he sort of "invited" some of the bad things that were said, not personally, but the subjects he presented.
For myself personally, I wish nothing but the best for Bill, and hope things well go well for him in the future. |

Roger,
In Bill's case it's due to the use of $20 words, in Leo's case it's strictly due to confusion. |

The Most ignorant people also happen to be the most arrogant when it came to Bill's topics. A lot of times arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand, only trouble is Bill stepped on the ego of both.
Bill Hankey deliberately compressed the most words of high language into the smallest ideas with his keen understanding that there would be an abundance of arrogance in replies of the the ignorant in "an endless series of pointless expounding" which to his mind only confirmed his suspicion and heightened the enjoyment of the casual viewer who caught the joke.
I miss you Bill |
