http://youtu.be/SQwE1oe0sCw IMO, this is a fantastic song played by, IMO, the best. I know a lot of us have musicians that we are partial to, but Buddy just does wonderful ideas with a, IMO, beautiful touch and feel of the strings. |

Have you heard Buddy play The Last Letter, it is on Vol 2 of Pickin on Shot CD. Just brilliant. I was fortunate to get to produce those cds. Everyone was just great on both cds. |

I do a lot of listening, more than I ever play anymore, I guess it's due to my age. Anyway I listen to some of the heavyweights, but there is such a difference, IMO, Buddy has his own "touch" that is just out of this world. I never get tired of listening to his music, man if I could reach his level or come close. And he does it on both necks. |

Yes there will be someone, but I know what you mean, there'll never be another.

One of the greatest Country songs ever written. Perfect for the pedal Steel. Performed by the master himself, the great Buddy Emmons whom I had the honor of his incredible Gift of music on my last rec. session in Nashville. I think the Harps should be replaced by Steel Guitars in Heaven. |
