[quote="Damir Besic"]guitar is very nice and clean gone over and set up by Lynn Stafford, more pix and info at www.steelguitarsonline.com

This '88 ZumSteel U12 used to belong to a fellow named Michael Moore of Seattle, Washington. It was a real mess when he brought it to me to convert to more of a standard U12 for him. I purchased the necessary parts from Bruce Zumsteg and reconfigured the setup for Michael.

Here are a few "before" photos.

Here is a photo I took after I did the work on it.

Yeah, Now I see.... the LKL was folded under the Vertical in the first set of pictures....

Don't get me wrong, I'd buy the rosewood, but my wife won't let me. Black guitars only Very Happy

That's a whole lot of guitar with 8x5.

Hi, Damir, the "Boo-Wah" is the nickname for the (originally) 8th C6 pedal that along with other changes drops the bottom string 1 1/2 tones, sounding like Boo-----Wah… Jeff Newman popularized it's position being moved next to pedal 5, replacing the less-used old 4th pedal, as a number of licks move between pedal 5 and 8. I like it there myself, don't miss the old 4th pedal change.
Nice guitar, looks much like a similar vintage Zum I have which is a fine axe.

This is a great guitar, and Lynn did a beautiful job cleaning it up and getting the setup just right. It ended up as the 3rd of 3 guitars, and just didn't get played enough to keep. Beautifully built and restored - it'll make a great guitar for someone...
