It's hard to photograph something like this and do it justice. Let me just say that I highly doubt there is a cleaner string master on earth. This has a 24 1/2 inch scale, it was made in 1967, and it works perfectly. Other than tarnish on the case, which has protected this guitar most likely under the bed for the past 40+ years, it is super clean. It makes me sick to think about parting with it, but it's time to downsize. I'll take more photos if anyone wants to see them.$2500

Wow, I had the same guitar a few years ago, a 1967 brown T-8 Stringmaster in mint condition. Maybe that IS the same guitar?

I remember that old players-grade beater of yours Doug!
Seriously, they are remarkably similar. Mine has a different provenance though. Evidently, '67 was a big year for buying a Stringmaster and putting it under the bed!

Wowzers! That's beautiful. Did they ever make the triple Stringmasters with a shorter scale? Thanks for posting, it's amazing.

Fender made three scales: 26", 24 1/2" and 22 1/2".

...in all styles except single necks, which weren't really Stringmasters, and were all 22 1/2".

Geez,
Talk about eye candy... this is a real piece of chocolate. Never seen one this clean. Maybe the previous owner took up playing steel but quit early on. Good luck with the sale, Carty.
