This has a great underside to work on.
So Damir, I seem to have some confusion on this point:
is this push-pull? I thought a shobud was, but the cranks and rodding look like all-pull.

Charlie, Sho~Bud didnt have push pull guitars, this guitar was originally a rack and barrel, but someone removed racks and replaced them with modern all pull parts (MSA maybe)

damir.. Those are a hybridized bunch of parts, but mostly look like 70's marlen when they were pull/release steels.. Very solid and well made.. The bellcranks, knee levers and pedal cross shaft pullers are certainly Marlen made, or exact copies.. Whoever did it, did a NICE job and used very good parts.. It is a gorgeous guitar, and I am teetering back and forth... Only thing stopping me is the 1/1 changer.. I am looking hard for a similar bud with 2/1 changer, but they are not easy to find... Yours is a VERY nice looking bud...bob

Bob, thanks for the info, it is very solidly made, and plays very nice, btw. I love old pull release Marlen guitars, they have an awesome tone, and lacquer ones are work of art, beautiful

This should not be construed as 1/1 changer, you can add as about as many changes as you have barrels and pedals/levers available.
