Thanks Peter and whoever collected those pieces. I've enjoyed all of them you've posted. I think it takes all of my years of playing just to appreciate how good Tommy is. Incredible stuff!

This demonstrates a couple of things to me:

1. Tommy is one of the most versatile and tasteful players in Nashville. Quite honestly, I had not had a chance to listen to Tommy on so many different kinds of songs until these videos were posted. There is such a different skill set required to play in a band with singers, than playing instrumentals at a steel show. Tommy certainly has the ability to handle either situation with perfection.

2. If you're a good player, it makes no difference what brand of guitar you play. Tommy is seen here playing all kinds of guitars and he always sounds good. So, I'm thinking if you're ordering a new $5000 guitar and think it's going to make you sound better...... You might be barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks for posting these!

Just another video to show how great Tommy White is. I have attended several shows but I do not remember seeing him play when I attended. I would love to see him play a full set where he is the featured artist. His speed and accuracy is something that many of us will never attain.

It was good to be introduced to the band, who just stop, look, and smile when Mr. White starts playing.
I did hear one note that was kind of pitchy about half way--no, wait.. he just wasn't holding the bar straight.

I've come to the horrifying conclusion of just how pitifully boring my playing is compared to Tommy's.
