The San Antonio Steel Guitar Association will have its next get together on Mar 1st, 2015 at the William Randolph American Legion Post #593 at 326 W. Legion Drive from 2 PM until 5 PM.
Our featured performer this month is Dennis Bailey.
The mission of the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association is to provide an opportunity for current and future players to meet, play, listen, and exchange ideas. Everyone is welcome. Musicians are asked to be there in time to be setup and tuned up for the 2 o'clock start. Admission is free and the Legion's canteen will be open serving your favorite beverage along with burgers and snacks. Questions? Contact Ben Price at 210.255.1816
Hope to see you there. No snow or ice here in San Antonio.
Very Happy

Yes, there is cool weather and maybe moisture, but that can't stop the steel train from coming. Hope everybody will come and enjoy a wonderful turnout. I will be there with umbrella over head and an amp under arms and ready to play. Looking forward to playing with Dennis Bailey.

I can't tell y'all how much fun I had... way too much, anyway. At least a dozen guitars/players, probably a hundred people in the audience, and Dennis Bailey and his bunch did a rousing feature for half-time.

Yes, Stephen, what a blast! This Sunday was spectacular, as you said, not only with the players, but with the audience. Dennis Bailey with "Clark Kent" Aaron McDonnell did such a wonderful job of pleasing the crowd. I really enjoy playing with the best of the best, like Roger Edgington and Bill McComber and Greg Holland, and all the players there that made today sweeeeet. I also want to mention I enjoyed jamming with my new found friend, Randy Russell, on the fiddle. Cudos to all.
