Folks this is a hard one for me to do, but Judi Myrick has ask me to help sell Weldon's Custom Justice D-10 I built for him.
The serial number is 11 12 11, the date it was built.
The sad news for Weldon was, he got to play this guitar less than 30 hours before his first stroke ended his fabulous career.
Most everyone knows of this guitar and Judi has decided its time to let it go. It has its whole life ahead of it and she feels it should be played.
If your interested in this guitar, I'll discuss the set up/change with you.
NOTE: This guitar has 1" over standard legs & rods.
It has Weldon's set up on it now with 8x4, I WILL NOT add multiple knee levers but will add a vertical lever at $150.00 and put your setup on the 8x4 at a $100.00 fee.
The asking price is $4500.00 plus shipping.
If the set up is not changed it will ship from Nashville. If changed it will ship from Mesa, AZ.
All serious inquiries should come to me by phone or email.
Here are some pictures to look it over, additional pictures by request Thank you for looking and God bless.

I know this is a difficult time for you Fred, but if I may say, that's an awesome looking steel. Best wishes on the sale.

Gentlemen thank you for your nice compliments.
This guitar is a tone machine.
Weldon's first comment about this guitar was, "It has a certain zing to it"

Wow, is right. I would love to have this guitar but probably a little steep to get the wife's approval for a second D10 in a handful of months. I'm sure whoever gets it will be extremely pleased.

Thank you boys for your compliments.
Weldon was so proud of this guitar, and I thank him for playing my guitar. He was such a blessing to me.

Wow! Beautiful guitar. I'm curious about the body on the underneath. Is that tan/beige flocking or something else covering. I'd have to say it's the cleanest D-10 I ever remember seeing. ( Received package this afternoon also, Fred. Thanks buddy. )

Billy that's Multitexter, kinda like the cream colored finish that Sho~Bud used for years.
I haven't used flocking of any color in 4 or 5 years.
This finish is so much easier to work with.

Last Sho-Bud I remember seeing with that finish was years ago and was one of Sonny Burnette's D-10's. Red lacquer w/aluminum necks. If I were in the buying mode now, I'd buy WM's guitar in a heartbeat. I still want a red burl Justice. Justice and G2 are the only things left on my to do list. It's coming! Thanks.

I've sat down to some of Freds' guitars at steel shows and his guitars play like a pedal steel should. No fumbling or bumbling for pedals or knee levers the action is smoother than buttermilk and his attention to detail on the overall beauty on his guitar is second to none...Truly a great craftsman not to mention an overall honest and good man..

Fred is a master craftsman, and second to none. I have had one of his guitars, and it was a pleasure setting behind his work.

A couple of weeks ago a gentleman in East Tenn. made an offer of $4000.00 for Weldon's guitar.
I just heard from Judi and she has agreed to lower the price to $4000.00
If you sir or anyone else is interested at that price, contact me by phone or email.
Thank you.

That is so tempting, and how many guitars have Weldon Myricks name on it.
