Really. Quick, someone pull that off and stain and lacquer it.
The rest of the guitar is truly luscious ! (did I really use that word?)
Hmmm

I'm tellin ya, the color saturation is maxed in the pic's, In reality the color of the bridge blends fine it is not pink.
and really for the price, anyone that want's to stain it can have at it. But there really is no need to.

Vinal I think that is a very good looking guitar. To bad for the color saturation which ruined the color of the bridge. The guitar resembles the early Gibsons. Who was the guitar builder of this one? with all new quality parts and great sound that seems to be a real nice buy.

Dick,
That is a Dillion. The company has been lurking for a few years here and in Canada. The design is a lot like A custom maker out of Ohio ,I think he is,. He's a member on here, but his name escapes me at the moment.

Quick question,
Do you take odd the bridge to put strings on?
I don't see another way. Very nice guitar.

Seems a little odd at first, but George Boards (Piburn) used the same method on some of his fantastic creations. You kind of get used to it after the first hour or so.

People nowadays complain that apples are not oranges. That's a beautiful instrument at a terrific price.

Nice looking guitar. Could you tell me what is the name on the headstock? Could it possibly be a Dillion guitar? Also, does it have a round or square neck.
Thanks, Simon

Alan,
It is a Dillion, and it has a stout round profiled neck.

Don't think the color saturation in the image matters much, as seen in the middle picture below. Staining the bridge, however, would make it perfect, as simulated on the right. And it's a quick and easy fix for any lucky buyer.

Per,
Thanks for that, the thing looks closest to what you have manipulated to on the right. minus the the harsh red. In flat white light, the red transition line of the burst barely shows.

So in my pics at the bottom of the series is a pick of it as I see it right here at the PC hanging on the wall in front of me. That looks much closer to what the eye actually sees. it's actually a lttle tamer than that in realtime.

Hi Karen,
There is a label on the back that says USA And there is a Dillion USA Factory, But my guess is it's Pac Rim . Made well though.
As for weight, my scale gives a reading of 6 lbs.
Thanks for your interest.
