I think the tape must've been running fast at some points
because I don't think it's possible to play those fiddly bits that rapidly.
Monster, all right.
That was a fine haiku you wrote, Dick. |

Thanks for these clips. It reminds me of two things. 1. What a monsterously APPROPRIATE player Tommy is, by that, when to turn loose and when to rein it in. And 2, what a shame TNN decided to give up it's niche and quality progamming to chase being a second(or third) rate wannabe sports station. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

I like this batch even better. I used to watch or tape every nite. I learned a bunch. I have many of these on VCR. But no VCR to play em. Asked a kid the other day if his store sold VCR's. He looked at me like I was from Mars.
Tommy if you see this. What year did you start Music City Tonight-Crook & Chase- Nashville Now? I wanna think 92'ish? We were both younger and prettier then. Time does fly.
Miss seeing you o the tube.

I wish there was more music like this today. Tommy White is absolutely great on steel guitar. No wonder Buddy Emmons calls him "Killer". |
