I have a old 1978 Standard Mark 111 Peavey bass head and was wondering if anyone has tried one for steel.
It's 130 watt rms, 4 ohm. I have a couple of Tommy Huff's cabs loaded with 15" black Widows.
What ya think? little low on watts?. I would need to send it in and have it gone through.

It's 130w at 4ohms, mono, which means you should only use one 4 ohm speaker. 2 4ohm speakers would give you 2 ohms. Aside from that, it would probably work pretty well. You will need some outboard effects, I like to use the Digitech RP 155, great effects and good value.
