Here's a photo of Stonewall & Ron Elliott at Columbia from before the 9/9/69 Decca date but around the same time. Ron Elliott was on the Minutemen Band right before he joined Jack Greene. Stonewall was on Columbia.

Frank,
I think that is Jimmy Day playing on the Jack Greene track. If you compare it to Jimmy's instrumental version on the "Steel & String" album, he is using some of the same phrases.
