what a hot lookin' steel. and might have been john's...which is also really cool.
not to mention that wood necks on mica bodies are rarer.

yes Chris, I have seen some blue ones, but with aluminum necks, never seen one like this before...

Chris, I have one exactly like it and it supposedly was owned and played by Bob Hempker when he was in Loretta's band. All instruments were blue I believe due to her big hit "Blue Kentucky Girl".

it would be interesting to know how many mica bodied wood neck models were made...or what percentage..
i've seen pictures of maybe 4 or 5 in my life.
