Hi Andy...Mahalo for the work you did on Ralph's interview. I have always been a fan of his since the early forties...have a number of his old 78 discs. Ralph and I corresponded and exchanged tapes for a few years but then I lost tract of him. Glad he is still at it. He's one fine musician with quite the background. Another chap who has an intriguing background is 92 year old Tau Moe. His story is briefly outlined in Lorene's book also. Tau is a great friend of mine and we were with him 4 weeks ago. He's looking fine and is still as sharp as a tack!

Andy,
I'm glad to hear that Ralph is still at it. I corresponded with him a few years ago and had several phone conversations. A wonderful experience!
I also purchased a tape of his Bluebird recordings. Did I get that from you? If so, you should make that available again.
Ralph truely, as they say," deserves wider recognition". He is such a great combination of hard swinging jazz and Hawaiian.

Ralph was selling the tapes as well as dubs of a video I edited about him a few years ago. He's been sick and getting on in years so it may be too much for him but I'll try calling him to see if he's still selling them.
