Not sure, although his left hand looks to me like Terry Crisp's. Here's the original recording with the great Weldon Myrick on steel.

For sure not Terry Crisp. In 73 Terry was 16 years old and weighted 150 or less. Terry also had a smother touch even then.

Not Hal Rugg, way too big around in the middle. Whoever it is it looks like they are playing a double 11 or maybe even a double 12 string....Nice picking no matter who it is.
