Inquiring about ideas for settings for a newer 200 SE amp, The controls are as follows: master, buff, reverb, bass, depth(knob), body, expand(knob), treble, volume... I've found quite a few settings for amps with switches for depth and expand, also not many with the buff knob...just fishing for more ideas. The Evans is the cleanest amp I've tried. Thanks for all input. Randall |

Thanks for your kind words. For normal pickups use the +6dB Input and try these control knob settings: Master 5, Buff 4, Reverb 4, Bass 5-7, Depth 2-3 o'clock, Body 6, Expand 2-3 o'clock, Treble 3-5, Volume 4-5. Use the Normal Input with hotter pickups.
You can read more in the current User Manual about these unique tone controls and find other settings to try with your SE200 at: http://www.evansamps.com/uploads/docs/ECAUserManual.pdf. You can also call me at 336 270 5700 until 4 PM weekdays and I'll be happy to answer your questions and give you a short tone control tutorial over the phone. Thanks again. |

Scot- Many Thanks for your post! I have learned that SE 200 is capable of lots of things. I can't wait to get it dialed in on stage Saturday night. Your suggestion sounds good in my practice room. The amp is very clear and clean. I'm enjoying it's quietness, as well. Thanks again |
