I posted a video a while back and many of the members enjoyed it. I have posted another John Hughey special on YouTube. When this song came out by Conway in about '83, I remember hearing a DJ on the radio say, listen to that steel!! John Hughey could instantly attract even the novice of steel guitar listeners. John Hughey had such an impact on country music...amazing!

Thanks guys! And a big thanks to Jim Cohen. Jim is an amazing steel guitar player in all areas of music. For him to give a thumbs up is very special and means a lot.

Danny,

Very well done. John was my favorite player and you have captured his style very well. Nice, your Emmons sounds great.

Wow Danny, I think you passed up Ron's playing!
Just kidding about that.
Really sounded good; maybe you should give up the law business, get a bus and go on the road. Haven't seen nor heard from you in a long time; call some time.

Hello Tommy! Nope, can't keep up with Ron. I appreciate the response and I will give you a call. Glad you are doing okay. Keep on a pickin' and take care.
