I wouldn't advise doing this.
If you want an Emmons all pull, buy a LeGrande and don't screw up a p/p. ![Whoa!](images/smiles/icon_omg.gif) |

Agreed.
Akin to remotoring a '59 Caddy with a Northstar V8. Probably doable, but ill-advised.
But if it's your guitar, you can do whatever you want with it. It's still a free country, after all. |

Paul,
I wouldn't look too hard! I rebuilt an Emmons S-10 p/p that had been converted to an all pull and then converted back again, it was a mess! ![Whoa!](images/smiles/icon_omg.gif) |

I saw the pics on the old thread, ugh, that's blasphemy. Can't believe someone would do that to a guitar, I don't care who did it. _________________ Henry Matthews

Stu Basore played one that eventually ended up in the hands of Eddie Lang. I don't know what happened to it since then. |

I think Bobbe Seymour did a few of these before they discovered that the desirable tone was also removed with the push pull parts...
That's not Clem's doing... _________________ My best,

What Ernie said.
How about thinking the other direction? All pull set up and adjusted like a Push Pull, AND sounding like a push pull? Well - almost. |

Frank Carter's goal in creating the Infinity steel guitar was also to get as near to a P/P sound as he could with a modern all pull changer, with superb mechanics and meticulous build quality. Most who try one agree he's gotten awfully close. |
