Song from the fifties, made to hit the charts by Pat Boone, also sung by Patsy Cline, Andy Williams, Vince Hill. Written by Fred Coots, first published in 1931.
This instrumental version was performed by:
- Kay Das on steel guitar (Steelocaster A6 tuning), dobro (Charvel - Jackson DADF#AD tuning) , and harmonica (Toots Thielman Hohner chromatic), leads. Also strings/harp (Roland E-09 sampler), and rhythm guitar accompaniments.
- Pete Korving on bass, rhythm guitars and strings accompaniments.
This track is dedicated to Wally and Peg Pfeifer, with thanks for the support over the years.

Very Very Nice Kay.
Kay is not a great steel but a great teacher. Took a Mini Course the last time they had HSGA in Joliette.

Great job on a great song Kay, It is one of my all time favorites. You are about the smoothest non pedal player I know of. |

Kay,
I enjoyed your playing and I really like the string accompaniment. Strings sounds are pretty realistic. I assume they're digital samples. I like it! |

Gentlemen,
Joe, wishing you a rapid recovery.
Thank you for the encouragement, I am grateful for the appreciation. Seems like a tune waiting to be played on a steel guitar.. I think Jeff Au Hoy may have a version too.
My collaborator, Pete Korving, recorded the background percussion, bass, and string tracks to which I layered the digitally sampled harmony strings on a Roland E-09 keyboard.
