I have for sale a high power combination of the FYD Octal Preamp(6sn7) into the Freyette 2/90/2 stereo tube amplifier. This is a high power tone machine, don't know how else to describe it. I will include the excellent condition Gator case as it really works well with this system. Both the Pre amp and Fryette are in excellent plus condition. The only down side is the weight. The Freyette alone weighs thirty five pound, so the whole rack weighs about 43 lbs. Not for everyone, but superb sounding set up. I've got too many amps right now and have the same thing with the FYD steel guitar amp, just less power. I couple it with two Telonics Cabinets loaded with the Neo Telonics 15's. Here is more info on the rack:

$1700 plus shipping**** Willing to split up*****

This is very similar to my rack system. I have the FYD preamp with the Carvin TS-100 tube power amp. I really wanted a Fryette for the power amp, but couldn't get may hands on one at the time. The Fryette will give you more clean headroom than you'll ever need.
This is a killer tone combo.
I recently scored a Milkman Half & Half and it's great, but it doesn't sound as good as my FYD rig!

Hi Jack,
You gave me the idea, when you got yourFYD. Just got the Freyette at that point. Over the top power, smooth and sweet octal influence from the FYD. If I didn't already have the FYD amp I wouldn't consider selling this. I will split up, the 6 string guitar world has high regards for the Freyette. Good deal for the right player.

I'd love to hear this setup. Is the preamp mono, feeding 2 independent channels at the power amp?
