A friend of mine is letting me borrow this amp, but it's been in storage for a while, outside in a shed.Very dirty on the outside& a couple small tears in the grill cloth and lots of dust in the grill cloth as well.Any recommendations on how to safely clean it up will be Greatly appreciated. It sounds GREAT, just really dirty cosmetically.
Thanks In Advance
Sincerely
Jeff D.

I've used Spray 9 on amps and then

http://www.spraynine.com/product/spray-nine-cleanerdisinfectant-635

wipe it with ArmorAll

The Evans LV 500 is a great! amp and I've owned one for many years

Bob

Might sound stupid, but Tire Clean works really well...at least it did on the amps I used it on...with moderation of course!!

The grill cloth is attached to a frame separate from the amp. The frame is attached to the amp with Velcro. Loosen one corner with a screw driver (carefully) and pull the frame off. Then you can wash it and dry it and replace back on the amp.

I use Formula 409 and a scrub brush, then dry it off with a clean cloth.

Simple Green works great on cleaning amps and under the hood of guitars. Smells good too if there's smoke odor.
Just used some again today!
