Guys, I just bought this guitar from Winston May with the intentions of setting a personal tuning. Since, I've found a 14 string that I've been seeking for quite sometime so I need to sell this one. I paid $690 for it and asking $675 plus the shipping. It is a very well made steel and sounds amazing. Shobud-ish sound on the highs with deeper mids and lows. Has a George L's 12-5 pickup so any tone available...thick or thin with turning the knob. Great sustain and an the body looks great. The ABC pedals are Emmons...LKL raises E's and RKR lowers E's. RKL raises 1st & lowers 6th. There is also a locking lever installed. I don't know what the rest of the setup is but some kind of universal. Lot of guitar for less than a student model price!
Here is where I purchased the steel altho Winston deleted the pics. So, I snapped a few with my phone.
Thanks,
Dave

Man I'd love to take it and would drive over and get it and save you the trouble of shipping it. _________________ Pre RP Mullen D10 8/7, Zum 3/4, Carter S-10 3/4, previous Cougar SD-10 3/4 & GFI S-10 3/4, Fender Steel King, 2 Peavey Session 500's, Peavey Nashville 400, Boss DD-3, Profex-II, Hilton Digital Sustain, '88 Les Paul Custom,Epiphone MBIBG J-45, Fender Strat & Tele's, Takamine acoustics, Marshall amps, Boss effects, Ibanez Tube Screamer, and it all started with an old cranky worn out Kay acoustic you could slide a Mack truck between the strings and fretboard on!! |

Guys, as expected, I've had 4 firm commitments to purchase this guitar and I really appreciate the interest and taking time to write. It's a great deal to say the least that I managed to get as well. But the timing was bad as after I committed to purchasing that I found a guitar that I've been seeking for a long time. I wasn't about to back out of a deal with Winston. So I'm just trying to recover most of what I spent.

Tom..I'm sorry you missed this twice and I appreciate the interest. But, Dave has made a firm commitment and I must honor that.

I would rather not have to pack and ship this either. But as stated, Dave is a long time reputable member and I need to honor his commitment. If for any reason this were to fall thru I will contact in order of correspondence.
This one can be closed.
Thanks,
Dave |
