Great playing Kline that stays in tune. Has hardware for 4th knee, just needs lever alone. Case in great shape and has a George L pickup. Standard Emmons set up but easily changed. 2100.00 plus frt. Pics to follow

Klines are GREAT guitars. I had a D10 once and wish I could get it back. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Don't want to sell it. One of the best guitars I have owned. Stays in tune, locks up quick at restring and is easy to change set ups. It's very light and the softest pedal action I have ever played. Best of all it sounds great. I am talking myself out of selling but it's between this one and my 67 Scranton ZB. It really is a tough choice. Oh well someone buy this and enjoy it before I come to my senses. |

"Kline that stays in tune"
You needn't even say that,,,, as ALL Klines stay in tune. |

What three knee levers does it have? I'm asking about the locations of the levers, not what they are currently set up to do.
What does it weigh in the case?
How hard or easy is it to change the copedent on Klines? It's a virtual certainty that I would have to make a lot of changes to this guitar. _________________ It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. |

Great guitars, I played one like this the last 10 years I played out from 1985 to 95. Good work horse. |

Paul,,,I've owned 6 Klines,,,and most other makes of guitars at one time or another. I can work on and do most anything to every make,,,consider myself a pretty good PSG technician,,,,but I can't work on a Kline,,,properly!!! I've always had either Joe Kline or Paul Redmond set them up for me. Once set up,,,virtually trouble free,,,,, |

When I got my Kline, I had Joe change one lever, to lower the 6th. In 15+ years playing 6 hours a night, 5/7 days a week, I only made ONE adjustment at the changer end! And that was because a string was mispackaged! Incredible workhorse of a guitar! Great-sounding and playing too. |

Would it be possible to get an underside picture of the guitar? _________________ Carter D10 8/5, Hilton VP, BJS Bar, Sonic Research Strobe Tuner, Elite' Powered Speakers, Fender Telecaster, Traynor YCV40 Tube Amp |

A very interesting mechanism. I looked at it and thought, "Wow! I gotta take it to somebody who understands it!" Well, Joe was only 20 minutes away. Again, and I want to stress this, once the guitar was set up, I didn't make any adjustments in over 15 years! Only tuned up the strings as they stretched out. Paul Redmond, and Rick at Hummingbird studios understand these guitars.
I took a trip to Nashville, hoping to sit in a few places. They all wanted me to put at least $25 in the tip jar! Screw that! Stopped at Bobbe's in Goodletsville on my way home. He hadn't had a chance to really examine a Kline until then. His comment was, "Joe has taken Model T mechanics, and taken them up to Ferrari level." |

I could never work on my ZB's, but the Kline, similar to a ZB, I could work on. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Klines are fairly easy to work. They use a yoke system that gives good even and positive pills and lowers and the changer is similar to a ZB with the end plate being the stop. Good positive pedals and great tone. Wish this was a D-10, I'd be scrapping up some dough. You can time the pulls right on the money. _________________ Henry Matthews

I just saw the new posts and will take some underside pics. The knees are LkL, LkR, RkL. All you need is to do is order a lever to slide on the cross bar to have RkR. It's already set up to lower 2nd and 9th. Hummingbird Music in Ohio has parts. Smoothest steel I have ever played. |
